Yemeni cuisine is rich in many varied cuisines across its geography. The most famous ones are Mandi, Madhbi, and Meat, but we at Saba Restaurant offer some varieties that are not widespread, such as Muqlqal, Yujda, Qulaba with Pottery, Liver, Burmah, Shakshuka and Mutabbaq, and other varieties that must be tried and a number of desserts as well such as Masoub, Arika and drinks such as tea Adeni.
Poultry and lamb are eating more than beef. Cheese, butter, and other dairy products are less prevalent in the diet in Yemen, but yogurt (haqin) is endearing and consumed almost daily, especially in villages where it is widely available. The most commonly used fats are vegetable oils in sweet dishes.
